Pretreatment Procedure


Fill the beaker with 25 mL of sample and add 10 drops of R-1 reagent.	Heat the sample to boiling lightly. Stir the sample and add R-2 reagent untill the reddish purple color does not disappear.	Stop the heating and add one drop of R-3 reagent to extinguish the reddish purple color. If the color does not disappear add one more drop of R-3 reagent.	Put the sample of beaker into the cell and mess up to 25 mL with pure water.

Procedure


Press <Cr> Press <Enter> to change over to the display of measurement procedure. Insert the cell into the cell box with ▼ of cell facing ▲ of cell box. Press <Blank>.	Take out the cell from the cell box and add R-4 Reagent, then press <Start>. Cap the cell tightly and shake the cell 5 - 6 times.	Before 5 minutes passed, insert the cell into the cell box with ▼ of cell facing ▲ of cell box. After 5 minutes passed, the measurement will be displayed automatically.
