Use with tipping bucket type rainfall sensor (7980-S-40) . This instrument records the amount of rainfall by receiving the electrical contacts (pulses) sent from the rainfall sensor.

Mechanism Solenoid ratchet drive the pen with snail cam.
Returns to zero at 100 pulses and rises again
Measuring range Pulse counting method (0 ~ 100)
Input pulse 3 VDC 100 mA more than 0.1 sec.
Speed of pen Moves by the half of scale per pulse returns to zero point at 100 pulses.
