Vane Anemometers are a rotor that rotates along wind direction. This type of device need to turn propeller toward the wind to be able to measure. Actually there is many selection of vane anemometer, for suitable application such as medium to large vane are suitable for measure general wind velocity or natural wind, Small vane or with a probe are suitable for measure air velocity in pipes or small areas.
