Sound Level Meters

Sound Level Meters can be divide into two classes, with same functionality, but different tolerances for error. Class 1 and Class 2 are applies IEC 61672-1:2002 standard.

How to choose Sound Level Meters? As table above the tolerances of Class 1 has narrow range than Class 2. Class 1 is suitable for measure sound level that needs high accurate such as ISO 20906:2009 for sound measurement of airport. Class 2 is suitable for measure general sound level. Therefore, should be purchased by works type.
