1. ใส่ตัวอย่างน้ำลงในหลอดใส่ถึงเส้น (20 mL) และ หยดสาร R-1 ลงไป 2 หยด (0.13 mL)	2. ปิดฝาแล้วเขย่าแรง ๆ ประมาณ 30 วินาที	3. เทตัวอย่างน้ำทิ้ง โดยพยายามเคาะเอาน้ำในหลอดและที่ฝาปิดออกให้หมด (ไม่ต้องล้าง)	4. ใส่สาร R-2 ด้วยหลอดหยด 0.5 mL

5. ปิดฝาแล้วเขย่าแรง ๆ	6. นำหลอดไปเทียบสีกับ standard color โดยสีที่ใกล้เคียงที่สุดจะเป็นผลการวัด		สามารถใช้งานร่วมกับ DPM2-DET และ DPM-MTSP
